In memorial of the late Bro-man,  I here designate the following policy to be regarded as the Sco-Man rule.  there will be a limit of five complete roster changes this season, so exceptions.

CYFFL News :: Special Teams/Defense Scoring

@ 05:58 PM (24 months, 14 days ago)
One of the oversight's from last night's draft was not bringing up the special teams/defense settings for this year

...at our first meeting, we discussed combining special teams scoring with your defense (in other words, you run back a return kickoff or punt, you get six points for the score and one point for every twenty yards on your DEFENSE's total)...we used this scoring sytem the first few years of the league....

the last couple of years, we've used position players get the scores and return yardage....

so in other words, if we switch to "defense/special teams" scoring:: if Dante Hall returns a 60 yard punt for a score, if you start the Kansas City defense , you would get 9 pts...

if we stay with "kickoff/punt return scoring for position players" :: if Dante Hall returns a 60 yard punt for a score, if you start Hall at receiver that week, you would get 9 pts...

Vote YES to switch back to defense/special team scoring...Vote NO to stay with return scores/yardage for position players only..

Votes need to be in by July 16...
